Marty Costello enters his seventh year with the Blue Bombers in 2022, and fifth as the club’s offensive line coach. Costello has earned the utmost respect for the work he has done with the Blue Bombers offensive line, which remains the most consistent and dominant unit in the Canadian Football League. The 2021 season was particularly rewarding for Costello and his charges as they played a critical role in the 2021 Grey Cup championship. The offensive line surrendered the fewest quarterback sacks in the league as part of an offense that also finished first in scoring and second in yards rushing.
